Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using SocialSlides ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What SocialSlides does

SocialSlides is an AI tool that helps you write and design social media carousels. It includes AI writing, design tools, downloads, a library for your content, and optional posting and scheduling to social apps.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services where you live.
• Give us true and complete information when you sign up.
• Keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Do not share your account with other people.
• Tell us right away if you think someone got into your account without your OK.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Credits are used for AI features, like writing a carousel or making an AI image. Credits have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
• Each plan comes with a set number of credits every month. Credits refresh each month, and unused credits do not roll over. Yearly plans also get their credits month by month.
• Paid plans renew on their own, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from your billing page. You keep your plan until the end of the time you already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
• We may change prices. If we do, we will tell you before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

5. The Free plan

The Free plan gives you a small number of credits each month. Images made on the Free plan include a small SocialSlides watermark. We may change what the Free plan includes at any time.

6. How you can use SocialSlides

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal or without permission.
• Make content that breaks someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Make content that is harmful or hateful, or that breaks our Content Policy.
• Try to hack, overload, copy, or reverse engineer the Service.
• Use bots or scripts to get around credit limits or plan limits.
• Share, rent, or resell your access to the Service.

7. Your content

You own what you put into SocialSlides and what you make with it, including your slides, captions, and images. You give us permission to store, process, and show your content only so we can run the Service for you, for example to save your carousels, draw your slides, and post them when you ask us to.

AI can make similar content for other people, so we cannot promise that what you make is one of a kind. You are responsible for checking your content before you post it, including facts, numbers, and the rights to anything you upload.

8. Connected social accounts

On paid plans you can connect social accounts to post or schedule carousels. We use Bundle.social to do this. We only post when you tell us to, either right away or at the time you schedule. You can disconnect an account at any time. You are responsible for following the rules of each social app you post to.

9. Other services we use

SocialSlides runs on trusted outside services, such as Stripe for payments, Supabase for accounts and data, Vercel for hosting, AI providers for writing and images, and Bundle.social for posting. Their own terms may also apply when you use features that rely on them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data they receive.

10. No promises and limits on our liability

SocialSlides is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise any number of views, likes, followers, or sales. AI can make mistakes, so please review your content before you post it.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using SocialSlides and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or our Content Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make big changes, we will let you know by email or in the app. If you keep using the Service after the changes, you agree to the new terms.
