Content Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

SocialSlides is here to help you make helpful, honest posts. These rules cover the text and images you make with our AI tools.

1. Use it well

Use SocialSlides to teach, share, and grow your brand. Please use the AI tools in a way that is honest, kind, and legal.

2. What you cannot make

You may not use SocialSlides to make or share:

  • Illegal, harmful, or dangerous content.
  • Content that pushes violence, hate, or discrimination.
  • Lies meant to mislead people, scams, or fake reviews.
  • Content that breaks someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
  • Spam, or posts made to trick social apps or game their rules.
  • Adult or sexual content.
  • Content that bullies, harasses, or threatens anyone.
  • False claims about elections or voting, or content meant to interfere with an election.
  • AI images of real people made to fool others, or that show them in a false or harmful way.
  • Anything that harms or exploits children.

3. You are the editor

Our AI writes from what you give it, but you decide what gets posted. Before you post, please:

  • Read every slide, caption, and image.
  • Check that facts and numbers are right.
  • Make sure you have the rights to any photos, logos, or quotes you use.
  • Say when content is made with AI if your industry or the social app asks you to.

4. Follow each app's rules

When you post to Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, X, or anywhere else, you must follow that app's rules. That includes:

  • Following each app's content rules.
  • Giving credit where it is due.
  • Not using tricks to fake likes, follows, or views.
  • Clearly marking ads, sponsored posts, and paid deals.

5. What happens if the rules are broken

If we find content or activity that breaks this policy, we may:

  • Warn you for a first, small problem.
  • Pause your account for repeated or more serious problems.
  • Close your account for severe or repeated problems.

We may also remove content, stop scheduled posts, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Closed accounts are not refunded. See our Refund Policy.

6. Report a problem

If you see content made with SocialSlides that breaks these rules, email us at liz@lizontheweb.com. Please include a link or a screenshot.

7. Updates

AI and the laws around it change fast, so we may update this policy. If you keep using SocialSlides after an update, you agree to the new version. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
